New Beginnings: A relaxing day of shopping

After seeing how much everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day brunch...I decided to do it again next year (God willing). I noticed that all of the stores were stocked with beautiful spring and Mother's Day themed items and I wanted to stock up on some while they were on sale and before they were all gone.

I always loved the Shabby Chic theme so I decided to load up on some inspiration before I headed out.

So off I went....

My first stop was Ross, I thought this frame with be perfect for a Mother's day poem or maybe a scripture.

this can be used for drinks...of course it would be covered with coordinating scrapbook paper or.....

I can just turn it around ;-)

After Ross I headed to Michaels

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these gorgeous little tags that matched perfectly with the image I had in my head (yes there is an image ;-)) What was even more perfect that the color of these tags was the price.... $.60 for a pk of 12 yaaaay.

They were found on Michaels "fun theme" isle and they were 40% off.

and so were these note cards...they can be used for invitations

Then it was time to stop playing around and head to favorite spot for all things creative

these were located in the front of the store, thought they would be great for what I had in mind and I made a mental note to check back once they go on sale (which would probably be next week)

then I saw these at 66% off, I wasn't in love with the pattern but I was with the price and knew I could make it work with a few additions...so I grabbed a few pieces

But as I turned the corner...I saw it
